The end of the year is the perfect moment to reflect, and what a year 2024 has been! It was filled with highlights, new partnerships, and promising prospects. I’m excited to share a personal recap and a look ahead.
In June, we celebrated our 25th anniversary – a significant milestone to reflect on how Becurious has grown over a quarter of a century into a specialist in digital solutions for the hospitality industry. Together with our team, friends, family, clients, and partners, we marked this occasion in style. It was a wonderful opportunity to look back with pride, but also to look ahead with energy and enthusiasm.
This year, we were pleased to welcome two new colleagues to the team. Maud Hesseling joined us as a project manager and online marketer, and Mark Verbeek brought his technical expertise to strengthen our front-end development capabilities. Starting January 2025, Renske Lieshout will join us as commercial manager, further boosting our focus on sales and growth. I’m thrilled to see how our team continues to grow, complement each other, and work together to deliver high-performing websites and strategies.
In 2024, we forged new partnerships with inspiring clients and delivered unique projects. A few highlights include the launch of websites for:
Alongside these projects, our online marketing services have driven more direct bookings and increased revenue. We continue to improve results for our clients by staying ahead of trends and developments – achievements we can all be proud of.
2025 promises to be just as eventful. At the same time, we recognise the challenges ahead for many hotels, such as the upcoming VAT increase. These changes highlight the importance of strengthening direct relationships with guests and reducing commission costs.
Our focus for 2025 includes:
Finally, I want to thank everyone who made 2024 a success – our clients, partners, and of course, our incredible team. Your trust, enthusiasm, and collaboration have been invaluable.
I’m looking forward to everything 2025 will bring and can’t wait to keep building together towards growth, innovation, and success.
Warm regards,
Thomas Dieben
